WHO chief is already warning about another pandemic

It’s a little hard to say if the first pandemic of our lifetimes is even truly behind us. We’re still paying dearly for the decisions that were made between 2020 to 2022 in the form of lingering inflation, a crazy housing market, and global tensions that continue to escalate. But according to the World Health Organization (WHO), there’s no time to look back and examine the overt corruption and mistakes practically every world leader was complicit in perpetrating against mankind. No, the WHO says it’s time to start preparing for the next round of power grabs, utter stupidity, and seasons of “severe illness and death.” In a meeting in Geneva this week, the director-general of the WHO, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, warned an “even deadlier” pandemic is on its way.  “The threat of another variant emerging that causes new surges of disease and death remains,” Tedros said. “And the threat of another pathogen emerging with even deadlier potential remains.”  “When the next pandemic comes knocking — and it will — we must be ready to answer decisively, collectively and equitably,” he continued. “Collectively and equitably.” It’s like they’re not even trying to hide the fact that they plan to use pandemics as an excuse to shove socialism down our throats. Tedros went on to say, “We cannot kick this can down the road. If we do not make the changes that must be made, then who will? And if we do not make them now, then when?” Something tells me, though, that these changes he is referring to have little to do with the actual policy reforms imperative to ensuring something like COVID-19 never happens again. Thanks to the work of the White Coat Waste Project (WCW), where I am a Fellow, we know that the US government was funding dangerous gain-of-function research in the Wuhan lab. This kind of research involves awful variants of animal torture, and we were funding it illegally through a passthrough organization, EcoHealth Alliance, to get around Obama’s ban on the practice. While we’re still waiting on investigations into the matter, increasingly more people believe that COVID-19 was possibly created by this research and/or subsequently leaked out of the Chinese lab into the global population. This kind of research is always risky, but it’s even more precarious when it’s being paid for by our tax dollars in foreign labs, where we have little oversight or accountability, and when the NIH has frequently failed to enforce its own reporting and safety protocols for grantees (including and especially in the Wuhan lab). We also know that the US government is still funding this type of work in dozens of foreign labs as we speak, including in Wuhan up through last week.  So is the threat of another, more dangerous pandemic looming? Absolutely it is. But collectivist economic policies will be the last thing to prevent it.  Rather, we need immediate bans on gain-of-function research. All animal testing in unaccountable foreign labs should be cut off via all government agencies (the NIH is nowhere close to being the only corrupt one in the mix here). And we need Congress to once and for all settle the origins of the original pandemic and hold those who are likely involved accountable for their actions (and by accountable I do mean firings and prosecutions when laws were broken). The WHO and other global leaders will always use every emergency as an excuse to expand their power and push their agenda. They got away with a lot in 2020 and we will be living with the repercussions for decades to come. The sad reality is they’ll probably get away with even more if they get another shot, which is one of many reasons we need to demand measures that ensure such an event does not occur again.
