America was officially in a hostage situation earlier this week as a radical group of hoodlums seized control of 36 of the country’s shipping ports and threatened to cripple the supply chain, along with the economy, unless their demands were met - all while the Appalachian region of the country is in a state of emergency and in desperate need of basic resources.
