You don't get pensions anymore. Why should government employees on your dime?
About a quarter of Americans have no retirement account. Social security will run out in the very near future if the access age is not raised significantly. Only about one in 10 Americans working in the private sector today has an old-school pension.
Why? Because they're simply unsustainable and went bust right alongside the dot.com bubble
So someone explain to me like I'm 12 why Republicans in a growing number of states are bringing legislation to bring the pension back for government employees - on our dime. Like is the fiscal responsibility and limited government in the room with us, my guys?
