Another state is demanding an investigation into COVID-19’s origins
Iowa has now become the fourth state demanding a federal investigation into who or what created the coronavirus and subsequent pandemic.
Some context on this growing push: Last week, Congress sent President Biden a bill requiring the declassification of all information held by US agencies that pertains to the origins of COVID-19 and potential leaks of the disease from the Wuhan lab In China. It passed unanimously in the Senate, and in the House, every member present voted in favor of the measure.
As they should. Any good-faith actor would want to know once and for all how this pandemic began so as to ensure something similar does not happen again. But Biden has yet to indicate whether or not he will sign it.

This is just the latest measure as demand grows for an investigation into the disease’s origins. People are tired of playing cat and mouse with the government and the mainstream media for answers, and we’re still dealing with an ongoing campaign of gaslighting and censorship when these matters are discussed as I detailed for BASEDPolitics last week.
Almost everyone has had to admit at this point that it is highly likely the “crazy conspiracy theorists” of 2020 and 2021 were deadass right on the probability that COVID-19 came from a lab leak in Wuhan—though many are still trying to deny that such a leak came from our own taxpayer funded and dangerous research on animals, funded illegally by Fauci and the NIH. And to be clear, they’ve only finally admitted that much because of the tireless work of the White Coat Waste Project (where I am a Fellow) exposing that research, and thanks to Sen. Rand Paul who consistently confronted Fauci with that information in national hearings.

But in a sign of frustration at the federal government’s delay in action on the matter, an ever-growing number of states are rising up to demand that DC leaders do their job and get to the bottom of the matter.
Just this week, Iowa became the fourth state to take such action, introducing a resolution calling on Congress to investigate the diseases’ origins and produce such results to the people of its state. State senator Kevin Alons introduced the measure. Similar resolutions have been introduced in Georgia by state senator Colton Moore, Texas by representative Briscoe Cain, and Maine by senator Eric Brakey.
Just as the coronavirus seeped across our shores and infected one state after the next, these resolutions represent a sort of taxpayer uprising that is spreading across the country. Americans aren’t going to let this go. We had our businesses and schools shut down, our loved ones left to die alone, our basic civil liberties stripped away, and now, it looks like all of those things happened to us because our government was involved in reckless and illegal animal testing.
To make matters worse, we know the government is still very much funding this exact kind of research to the tune of millions of dollars. There must be accountability, and there must be an end to these practices once and for all.
