Democratic congressman goes full fascist: ‘fix your companies or we will’

This is an assault on free speech and the free market.

Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover is now fully underway and the Left is absolutely losing their minds over it.

From firing employees who openly bash their new management, to fact checking the White House, to removing comedians who make fake Elon Musk accounts, it seems there’s something to ruffle every Democratic feather on the bird app lately.

But while it’s fun watching Elon troll these people into lunacy, there are larger threats looming. In fact, Democratic Senator Ed Markey recently took to Twitter to threaten Elon with the force of the federal government if he didn’t run his companies as the senator felt appropriate.

Unable to take a joke made by Musk at his expense, the senator immediately escalated the confrontation.

By threatening to go full fascist.

If it wasn’t already clear by now, politicians have no real respect for the Constitution or the free market, nor do they seem to have any fear of repercussions for violating the aforementioned.

Here you have a sitting politician openly threatening a private business owner with corrupt agencies like the FTC, regulations, and investigations should he step out of line.

That is fascism. And it’s frightening.

How bad will it have to get before people begin to pushback? The federal government has far too much power and our courts and legislative bodies are failing to do their jobs as a check and balance. Capitalism cannot exist under such a system.

And to be clear, this kind of nefarious behavior is coming from both sides. Republicans have joined Democrats on numerous antitrust bills seeking to use the power of government to force companies to operate as they wish them to. Those bills would expand the power of rogue, unelected bureaucrats at the FTC and DOJ—making it even easier for the government to shake down business owners and force them under their control.

This is a full assault on free speech and the free market. It’s imperative we fight back.
